Description

GH Bio-Power are a renewable Energy provider (Living Power) using used cooking oil (living Fuels) as a feedstock.

The Maintenance Assistant will work across all maintenance and monitoring activities as directed by the Senior Engineer to support the needs of Living Power and Living Fuels.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Knowledge about specific activity tools and be able to use them safely.
Perform remote monitoring activities using the company SCADA and control systems.
Keep detailed records and logs
Assisting drivers with loading and unloading activities.
Maintain fuel levels on site including fuel processing.
Perform routine checks and maintenance including meter readings and fuel sampling.
Collection & Delivery of parts & tools.
Complying with health & safety requirements.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Must have strong mechanical aptitude and experience utilizing handheld tools.
Experience in a handson mechanical/Process position in an industrial, Generation or automotive environment highly desired.
Must have strong mechanical/technical skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
To be able to work well as part of a team and unsupervised/lone working.
Clean driving licence.
Forklift truck licence would be an advantage.
Basic IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Additional Information:

Prepared to work unsociable hours including weekends and bank holidays in line with on call arrangements.
Working days/hours
Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm)
24 Days plus 8 Bank Holidays

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
