Description

The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in the overall success of making The Bull Inn a fantastic public house.

This position is essential for supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring the efficient flow of dishes and utensils.

Key Responsibilities include:

Taking responsibility for your given tasks as well as supporting the team around you, every service
Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are always of the highest quality
Setting up, running and closing down the kitchen following:
Preparation processes
Food safety and storage procedures
Ensuring that the kitchen is kept immaculate at any given time
Responsible for the cleaning and storing of all cutlery, crockery, cookware and equipment, before, during and after service
Ensuring that pot wash area and equipment are maintained to standard at all times
Regularly deep cleaning kitchen, cooking equipment (ovens and grills) and fridges

Key Selection Criteria

Experience of working as a KP is preferable but NOT essential
Happy and wanting to work hard in demanding yet rewarding work amongst an experience and passionate team
Does well and taking instructions and caring out work as has been requested

£10.5 - £12 per hr depending on experience
