We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Ganger to start work for an important Civils client of ours, The work is based in the Central Birmingham area.


The work involved is managing Civils groundworks gangs, it will be doing: deep drainage, Excavation works, pipelaying, kerbing, tarmac, earthworks and various other groundworks.

(Avoiding danger from underground services, CAT Scan Buried Services)


Qualifications accepted are, either:

  • SWQR / EUSR Cards or Streetworks Cards with CAT AND GENNY Training Certs
  • CSCS Cards
- and a SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate.

Must have previous experience with managing groundwork gangs.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
From £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Team Leader/
Ganger Construction: 5 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (required)
  • SSSTS (required)
