Description
Engineering services business operating across multiple industry sectors require a Commercial Manager. Applicants need commercial contract management expertise and have experience supporting bids, projects and in-flight contracts. Hybrid working.

The Commercial Manager will support both, new engineering services bids and develop current agreements with UK and international customers. Working closely with Project Managers and Engineering stakeholders you will collaborate to help competitive and commerciallysound bids and contracts. Contracts delivered, focus on engineering support services, technology and products.

Specific duties of the Commercial Manager include:

  • Support bid, quotation and tendering activities
  • Negotiation of T&Cs with new/existing customers
  • Inflight contract management, negotiation and change management
  • Mitigation of commercial and contractual risk
  • Review of commercial contracts, highlighting risk, liabilities and areas to maximise profit

Commercial Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience of managing commercial contracts through the full development cycle
  • Experience of supporting bids, tenders and new business work
  • Previous exposure to engineering services, defence, aerospace, construction projects and programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of contract development processes
  • Happy with hybrid working
