We are looking for someone to...- Work alongside other PAs to be the first and main point of contact for patients throughout their medical journey with the clinic.
- Ensure mailboxes are kept organised and up to date and all enquiries are responded to in good time.
- Work with partner hospitals regarding outpatient and inpatient activity
- Ensure the medical specialists are provided with a seamless service by managing their clinic and theatre diaries
- Ensure that all patient letters are typed and sent in good time
- Provide occasional billing support to the external accounts team. Money will occasionally have to be taken from patients
- Assist from time to time with marketing events which help to grow the business
Must have skills:
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Be a good team player
- Great interpersonal and telephone manner
- Be computer literate and confident (including Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
- Having worked with DGL practice manager in the past would be preferred but is not essential
- Touch typist with attention to detail
- Some experience of working within private healthcare would be preferred but is not essential
- Be able and prepared to work early/late shifts within a working week with the occasional Saturday (on a rotational basis)
- Be prepared to work as a team to ensure the busy office is fully supported and all aspects of the administration is covered
