Conformal Coater

£11.50 to £13.50ph

Our client, a subcontract electronics manufacturer, is looking for a Conformal Coater to join their existing team. This is a great opportunity to join a local company manufacturing electronic components that are used globally in a wide range of industries

As a Conformal Coater, you will be required to carry out various duties such as:

Resolving and identifying coating issues and defects including equipment malfunctions
Coating PCB's with either spray, brush, or dip coating
Ensuring that records are correct and maintained in line with coating processes which also includes quality control and material usage
Ensuring equipment is setup and maintained correctly as well as checking the overall operation of the equipment to meet safety guidelines
Store and maintain coating materials safely, inclui9dng mixing and preparing conformal coating solutions
Quality checking coated components for defects including bubbles, insufficient coverage of coating and any runs
Ensuring you follow all safety guidelines and processes whilst working with chemicals and coating equipment
Working closely with engineers and production staff to continue improving coating processes and quality standards
Manage and monitor the inventory coating materials as well as ordering supplies when required

Full training is provided however the following experience is required:

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/parts list
Previous Conformal Coating experience is required, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment
Good communication skills
Good attention to detail
Willingness to learn/develop

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30 and Friday 07:30-12:30.

The hourly pay is between £ £13.50ph depending on experience, paid weekly in arrears. Any overtime is paid at time and a half.
