Ant Yapi UK LTD (ENR Top 250 contractor worldwide) is looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee a 12-storey high end residential project in Central London (+95 million £ project)


Responsibilities but not limited:


Chair daily activity briefing meetings with site team and sub-contractors to plan activities, issue work permits to sub-contractors and coordinate exclusion zones on daily basis.

Encourage sub-contractors to plan deliveries timely and enforce strict delivery programme in Central London construction site.

Ownership of work permit system during high end finishing works. Coordinate multiple trades and sub-contractors to ensure protection previous works.

Key management system and control of work permits inside finished flats and ensuring protection of all previous works performed.

Observe, issue and log clear up notices on behalf of the main contractor. Enforce safe work area rules on daily basis.

Attending inspections with subcontractors and closing out inspection forms.

Raising snags and reviewing desnagging items and deciding for closing out of snags prior to project completion.

Daily liaison with construction manager, finishing works manager to understand daily and weekly targets. Identify delays, enforce recovery plans with sub-contractors.

Selecting and ordering all required tools and materials (when required).

Discharge Health and Safety responsibilities in accordance with Safety, Health and Environment Management System requirements.


Qualifications and Key Skills Required:
SSSTS - SMSTS

Previous similar high end residential site management experience.

Previous industry experience with managing multiple trades and various sub-contractors.

Proven experience in the management of employees and teams

Ability to take ownership and solve problems and implement actions.

Good IT skills, including previous use of MS Office software.

Strong organizational skills.

Previous experience in residential fit out and refurbishment projects.
