Fifty-one bedrooms, pool, gym and spa, conference & banqueting for up to 300 delegates and award-winning restaurant.

Scope of the role


We are searching for a Full time time Receptionist to work 5 days per week The role is highly guest focused and needs a friendly, organised person with a professional approach, great administration and written skills, and an excellent eye for detail.

A warm, kind telephone manner, followed by a meticulous booking and an effervescent welcome that ensures our guests are excited about their stay.


Core Job Responsibilities & Duties


As Hotel Receptionist, you'll be responsible for consistently delivering the exceptional customer service this property has built a reputation on providing over many years.

you will do more than just answer the phone - it will be down to you to ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience from the moment they check-in:


You will already be an established professional with a knowledge of the hospitality industry who lives breathes and sleeps exceptional service.

You will be confident in responding to incoming queries to the hotel, whilst checking-in guests and all the time ensuring you provide an exceptional first impression.

As a Receptionist at Barton Manor Hotel & Spa you will enjoy every part of making our guest stay memorable, enjoyable & relaxing so they want to return time and time again.

Up selling facilities in the hotel such as Leisure Club, Beauty and Walled Garden Restaurant.

Understanding the business and keeping up to date with hotel's selling strategy and promotions

Shifts are on a rota basis and will be 5 days a week spread over 7 days.


Personality
Strong sense of need for achievement of goals and success

Ability to work under own initiative

Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs

Able to develop relationships with the hotel teams

Capacity to read situation, understand environments and respond accordingly

High level of motivation, determination, and commitment


Experience & Qualifications
1 years Hotel Reception experience

A strong command of both written and spoken English

Computer literate with experience of Excel

Knowledgeable of hotel technology:
Rezlynx PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranets desirable however training can be provided

Salary:
From £9.97 per hour


Schedule:
