Purpose of Job:


The role is integral in supporting the Sustainability Services team and encompasses a wide range of work including the delivery of client facing work, supporting projects and internal administration.

The role requires a commitment to undertaking specialist training and development, including Sustainability specific training.


Main Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Support the creation and delivery of a range of client facing proposal materials, such as presentations and sales pitch documents.
  • Actively participate in service delivery to clients including:
  • Co-ordinate carbon neutral assessments for clients, working with them to gather information and prepare initial client calculations such as Green House Gas Protocol for sign off by our carbon audit partner, Carbon Footprint;
  • Sustainability / ESG policy drafting;
  • Sustainability / ESG Training;
  • Over time producing investment portfolio transparency reports (following training).
  • Keeping uptodate of evolving Sustainability / ESG regulations and working with the relevant areas of the business to commercialise relevant regulation e.g. working with the
  • JTC Global AIFM team to develop client solutions to address the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulations (SFDR).
  • Reviewing marketing materials and working with the JTC marketing team to support the ongoing marketing of the Sustainability Services business line. This could include idea generation for thought leadership articles and initial drafting of comment pieces.
  • Responsibility for administration within the Sustainability Services team, including, but not be limited to:
  • Administrative support for the Sustainability Services Forum (setting up meetings, agendas, minutes, action logs)
  • Support the JTC PLC Sustainability Group, assisting with JTC's internal Sustainability programme, roadmap and disclosures, with a particular focus on the Sustainability section of JTC PLC's Annual Report and Accounts
  • Working with senior members of the Sustainability Services team to plan activity schedules for each quarter
  • Prepare client presentations and providing operational support to others within the team.
  • Support the Group Head of Sustainability Services and Senior Manager with the preparation of monthly business line reporting
  • Be responsible for logging and tracking the progress of all potential sales within the Salesforce CRM system and working with various internal stakeholder to ensure this remains current.
  • Ensure that all JTC training, policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Adhere to all JTC procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and legislation.
  • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Supported by JTC, undertake external role related training as required including Sustainability specific training to further develop specific expertise.

Essential Requirements:


  • Graduate level education
  • Ability to work in a team with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Good organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of Sustainability / ESG related frameworks is advantageous, but not essential
