Description
As one of the country's leading marquee and temporary structure suppliers, we specialise in the corporate sector but also provide wedding marquees for high end clientele.
Our strong site and yard teams need efficient support for a strong office team, backed with postitive attitude and willing nature.
Due to the location of our head office just outside York, a driving licence with your own transport is essential as we are not on a public transport route.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE
Processing purchase orders, goods rec'd notes, checking/coding supplier's invoices.
Inputting sales and purchase invoices to Sage software.
Obtaining authorisation of invoices and assisting with supplier payment runs.
Supplier statement reconciliations/queries
Credit control and actively chasing debtors
Inputting petty cash and credit card expenses
Logging timesheet hours to job costings
In addition to this you will also be tasked with various general office administration duties.
An ideal Accounts Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Sage knowledge essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- IT Literate, Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Previous accounts/administration experience
- Thorough and keen attention to detail.
- Good numerical skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver results.
- A team player with a positive 'can do' attitude.

Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary:
£12.00 per hour
