You will be responsible for organising, planning and preparing all activities to ensure smooth and safe operations on the G8X/G9X wind farm.
You will be working closely with our customer and lead a team of Technicians to service and maintain the wind farm.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate service operations on site
- Proactive daily plan for WTG repair ensuring the highest level of turbine availability
- Plan annual service and maintenance
- Plan statutory inspections on WTG safety equipment and elevators
- Approve service work orders and hours of Technicians
- Report turbine downtime for monthly availability reports
- Control the stocks of spare parts on site and warehouse inventory counts
- Control of PPEs and calibrated tools
- Organize the Technicians oncall schedule for weekends and bank holidays
- Organize and approve holidays from Technicians
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements including the WTSR
- Assist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager.
- General support to the Project Manager
Job Requirements
- Experience as a Service Engineer with G8X/G9X background
- Troubleshooting and Fault-Finding experience
- Have experience with planning and coordinating as a team leader
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Willing to travel to other sites when needed
- Organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Valid EU/UK driver's license and acceptable driving record
