This is a fully Greenfield procurement opportunity, for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a very successful, award winning FinTech business that have some hugely ambitious growth plans in 2023 you you'll play a vital part of their success.

A perfect opportunity to shape, design and reap the rewards from sculpting procurement as you see it.

Having a Procurement Specialist to support you, you will tackle the bigger and more complex contracts which tend to all land within IT or Technology relatedspend, then gradually work toward the other areas of corporate services spend.

This is a real start-from-scratch position, with no MRP/ERP systems with spend data, processes or procurement policy.


Role & responsibilities:


  • Manage 75% IT spend (all subcategories) and other indirect and corporate spend
  • Manage, mentor and develop a Procurement Specialist
  • Analyse all current spend across the company's services to identify improvement or cost saving opportunities
  • Endtoend procurement process, sourcing to ongoing supplier relationship management
  • Reporting into the Group COO, to implement strategy to achieve long term company benefits
  • Analyse current spend across designated categories and identify potential cost savings
  • Advise internal stakeholders of internal suppliers
  • Approach stakeholders who may not have used a procurement approach in the past to sell the benefits of procurement
  • Implement procurement strategies and policies into the company so it can be run ongoing

Experience and requirements:


  • Extensive procurement experience in IT spend, across all subcategories
  • Exposure to other corporate services procurement would be preferable
  • Strong stakeholder management, capable of holding your own
  • Implemented procurement strategies into a function or company
  • Experience in managing the full procurement process
  • Confident in influencing and communicating with all levels of stakeholder
  • A strong negotiator when working with new or existing suppliers
  • MCIPS Qualification desirable, not essential
