Description

Our client, a forward thinking, leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their growing practice in Uckfield.


You will mainly be dealing with the accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients, as well as some tax work.


Duties will include:

  • Producing client accounts/statutory accounts along with Tax computations
  • Lead client accounts' engagements (planning, directing and completion)
  • Supervise juniors
  • Research and analyse financial statements
  • Monitor the progress of jobs to ensure that budgets are met
  • Draft client letters and bills
  • Proactively interact with key client's management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements


You will ideally have at least 2-3 years practice experience and hold a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA, although study assistance may be offered if required.

A good working knowledge of Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Alphatax and CCH systems.
