Requirements:
To ensure that inbound and outbound materials/goods are processed in order to support the requirements of the department.

This will include the accurate processing of customer and Trillium owned stock transactions, bought in goods, inter facility transfers, preservation procedures and maintenance of records relating to the movement and storage of goods and equipment.

To maintain control of respective Service Centre/Hub stores and the coordination of all stock movements.

Day to day Duties of the role:

  • Ensure the stores area is kept in a clean and controlled manner, completing records as required, assist with the workshop as required also any general stores duties
  • The provision of 24 hour call out coverage on rotational basis and holiday cover as and when required.
  • A proactive approach to health, safety and environmental practices in the workshop at all times and assist in driving the required culture by adopting our key safety values.
  • Ensure all pre safety checks are completed, and that all equipment and guarding of equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensure a high level of housekeeping and that your area of responsibility is visitor ready at all times using 6 S techniques; actively participate where required to support the business continuous improvement projects.

Inbound Logistics - Goods receipt, initial inspection, put away goods into stores locations including quarantine of non-conforming goods, customer order receipts, inventory movements from other Trillium facilities.

In-house Logistics - Inventory movements to other site locations, picking materials and issuing to work centres, allocating raw stock to work orders on demand from Movex.

Physical Inventory - Carry out physical inventory counts as required, report and check on hand balances as requested.

Managing Inventory - Quarantine of stock, checking COSHH data sheets, ensuring equipment availability.

Managing and maintaining inspection intervals - Manage and maintain all equipment inspection intervals including service and maintenance of calibrated equipment, ensuring maximum availability and minimizing outspend.

Outbound Logistics - Painting, packing, preserve and the despatch of finished goods, return of rejected goods to suppliers, despatch and delivery of client owned items.

Preservation - Carry out preservation and re-preservation procedures in line with stock requirements, preservation of completed workshop repairs prior to dispatch or storage.

Stock management - Maintaining minimum sock quantities of consumables such as clothing, kit bags and PPE raising orders as required.


Education/Experience:


  • Previous knowledge of working in a logistics store would be advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial tooling and its operation.

Communication Skills:


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organizational ability

Computer Skills:


  • Quick learner on new systems there is requirement to operate Infor M3 (inhouse system that training is provided for)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:


  • Full UK driving license.
  • Forklift License.
  • Banksman trained.
  • Lifting and slinging.
  • PAT inspection certification or the willingness to obtain.

Physical Demands:


  • Trained in manual hand
