Procurement Specialist, Procurement Executive, Supplier Relationship Manager, Vendor Manager
An exciting new role on the back of sustained investment for this Cambridge based success story.

Reporting into the Director of Supply Chain, this role offers high levels of autonomy and profile and offers huge career development and progression opportunitiesin the medium-long term.

This role will take ownership for managing key procurement activities across the organisation from cradle to grave.

This role will also lead Supplier Relationship Management activities with key suppliers to develop capacity and capability, mitigate risk, unlockprocess improvement and promote a partnering approach to managing contracts.

As well as external stakeholders, this role will work closely with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure specifications and benchmarks are objectively measured.

You will alsobe involved in market/data analysis to understand the buying environment; run RFI, RFQ and tender processes for new and existing spend; and conducting negotiations to ensure value in terms of price, product quality and availability.

To succeed in this role, demonstrable experience in the above is required.

With proven experience in establishing strong supplier relationships and building long-term partnerships, you will have high levels of drive and initiative, a strong customer focus,high attention to detail and be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to your responsibilities.

Exceptional communication and influencing skills are required aligned with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.

With outstandingprospects available, this opportunity offers a hybrid working pattern with 2-3 days per week in the Cambridge office.
