I am currently recruiting a Senior Credit Controller from Publishing to work for a global Publishing agency. This is a permanent role based in Central London


Client Details
My client is a global Publishing agency based in Central London.

Due to recent high levels of success and growth, they are now looking for a Senior Credit Controller from Media to join their team.

The role will be based in Central London but they offer hybrid working.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Credit Controller to gain supervisory experience.


Description

The senior Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Managing a small team across a regional ledger servicing multiple brands and taking full ownership for maintenance and collections efforts on their ledgers.
  • Proactively communicating directly with Customers, Sales, Reps, Customer Services and Brand personnel regarding overdue customers, payment negotiation, unapplied payments and other inquires.
  • Supervising a team to maximise the order releases function making sure orders go down to the warehouse as soon as an account is clear. Also leading and educating a team on reasoning for using credit held orders as leverage to receive timely payments.
  • Ownership and credit control duties on a key account ledger focusing on large reconciliations performed quickly with no overdue balances
  • Devising and maintaining monthly KPI reporting for Senior business focusing on the top 50 accounts and giving a full overview and commentary on the remainder of the ledger and any other pertinent information by region and brand
  • Leading on weekly regional Brand ledger meetings for key stakeholders including Sales and Customer Services to assist in maximising cash collection and to encourage a proactive resolution focused mentality for all.
  • Working in tandem with the Credit Risk Supervisor to draw attention to any credit risks with specific reference to regional changes, credit limit issues, terms extensions/reductions, credit insurance changes and any other areas where risk is heightened
  • Partnering with your Credit Manager, establish periodical backlog processes to identify credit limit requirements for future seasons.
  • Maintaining low unallocated cash totals on the ledgers. Continuous focus on this aspect working to have clean ledgers always. Allocation of cash where required.
  • Suggesting areas for process improvement/automation to assist in improving the overall performance of the Credit Department
  • Performing other duties as required / assigned by the manager

Job Offer
My client is looking to offer a salary of £38,000 -£40,000 depending on experience.
