Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding role in a high school environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable high school in Bolton.

This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist in managing the learning environment, ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students with their academic tasks and assignments.
  • Help students with their personal development and promote their social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources.
  • Support students during examinations and assessments.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:


  • Relevant experience working with high school students in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and compassionate approach towards students' individual needs.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional qualifications in education or child development are highly desirable.

Salary:
£87.00-£105.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Greater Manchester:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
