Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist in managing the learning environment, ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
- Provide oneonone or small group support to students with their academic tasks and assignments.
- Help students with their personal development and promote their social and emotional wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources.
- Support students during examinations and assessments.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with high school students in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and compassionate approach towards students' individual needs.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Additional qualifications in education or child development are highly desirable.
Salary:
£87.00-£105.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
