We are currently Recruiting for a
Production Operative to Kiln Burner join our team on our
Cattybrook site in Bristol.



Specific responsibilities include:


  • Monitoring and maintaining consistent operation of the tunnel kiln and chamber dryers in a safe manner
  • Maintaining higher standards of housekeeping and environmental standards
  • Complete basic mechanical repairs, planned maintenance and lubrication schedules
  • Recording and documenting results
  • Assist in the development of Risk Assessments and Standard Safe Operating Procedures
  • Support the Quality Assurance department.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:


  • Excellent time keeping and attendance
  • Flexible available for overtime when needed
  • Self
- motivated

  • Numerate and literate
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • High degree of Safety Awareness
  • Ability to work alone
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Understanding of the use of IT

Desirable qualifications & experience:

  • Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.
  • A certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous.
  • A recognised upskill.
