Hours:42.5 Monday - Friday

Robert Heath specialises in providing domestic and commercial electrical works within the Public Sector and Social Housing. We are currently engaged in long term contracts with Housing Associations and Local Authorities covering over 100,000 properties across the UK completing such works as EICR, CCU upgrades, ECVP installations, Electrical heating and renewable works, LED retrofit lighting, Emergency smart lighting Installations, Full Property rewires


We are looking for an exceptional Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to be responsible for the quality and safety of all electrical works undertaken by Robert Heath.


Reporting to our electrical Manager you will be responsible for all work streams including NICEIC quality supervision, testing, and remedial programmes.

You will support the direct line management of the electricians to design and implement a specialist, performance, training, coaching and professional development programme to enhance the quality of the field operations.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Undertakes the role of "Qualifying Supervisor" and liaise directly with the NICEIC, with responsibility for the monitoring of certification and compliance with all necessary regulations ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
  • Ensuring that the business' premises, equipment, documentation, and records are available for inspection when required by NICEIC.
  • Recruit, induct and support the learning and growth of a team of highperforming qualified electricians
  • Ensuring customer service excellence and achievement of performance KPI targets including customer satisfaction, first time fix, productivity, post inspection pass rates and financial measures are achieved
  • Monitor real time audit failure and manage to completion

  • To maintain standard of dress that is appropriate to the role and in accordance with the organisation's dress policy.
  • To always maintain confidentiality and to ensure respect for, proper observance of and adherence to Robert Heath's confidentiality policy.
  • To take all reasonable care of the health and safety of her / himself and of other persons who may be affected by her / his acts or omissions.
  • To work at any other Robert Heath location as and when required.
  • To undertake any other duties which are consistent with the post.

To be successful in the role:

  • You will have a successful track record as a 'qualifying supervisor' including within NICEIC regulations and control of NICEIC documentation, holding the following qualifications:City and Guilds th Edition of the wiring regulations,
City and Guilds 2360- Parts 1 and 2, NVQ3 or equivalent
City and Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Testing and Inspection
Gold Card

  • Due to the locations, you will need to drive
  • Ability to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviours with regards to site Health and Safety
  • IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
  • A strong knowledge of the domestic and commercial industry and site operations including working knowledge of statutory legislation regarding health and safety and the need for rigorous risk assessment and method statement processes
  • Essential knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements and Electrical Safe Systems of Work
  • Will need to be able to understand building services including design principles, method statements, inspection test plans, risk assessments, commissioning, and handover requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills ensuring compliance and high standards of work through effective communication with colleagues and residents
