About us
We aim to grow visitors 'science capital' and engagement with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The Science Museum's Retail Team continues the audience journey by providing a seamless experience into its varied retail outlets.
- We are looking for Retail Sales Advisors to join our main Museum shop, as well as our new Power Up shop at the Science Museum, London These are 6 month contracts, and we have the following hours available:
21 hour per week- 2 week rolling rota
- week 1: Fri/Sat/Sun; week 2: Thurs/Fri/Sat
- 7 hours shifts:
14 hours per week
- Every weekend, Saturday + Sunday, 7 hours shifts
About the role
Our Retail Sales Advisors aide visitors in exploring our exciting merchandise from gaming classics, key figures in STEM and memorable keepsakes.
- You will contribute to sales and profit by actively approaching and assisting customers in finding and purchasing merchandise. You'll also be replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising.
- Interacting and engaging with our visitors will be the essence of your work, ensuring that they have a great day and providing them an excellent experience within the retail outlets.
