If so, please read on Euro London Appointment's client, a leading innovator in Laboratory Information Systems for managing scientific and medical research laboratories, is looking for developing and experienced Business Analysts as part of their continuingexpansion in France.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast growing market leader in their sector in 2023, interfacing with a diverse range of clients in the Life Sciences industry, understanding their user business processes and gathering the functional requirements neededto configure and customise their new Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

You would be involved in documenting systems processes and procedures for client requirements and new functionality needs.
This position involves working independently as well as with other members of our client's professional services team. Together or individually you would analyse and resolve technical project issues relating to functional and design requirements.
Key job objectives ( in order of importance)

  • Gathering, developing and documenting functional business requirements for customer projects.
  • Transforming users' requirements into functional requirements using both our client's architecture and functionality.
  • Liaising with the Configuration Designer and if necessary the Applications Programmers to ensure that the functional requirements and solutions are properly transferred for configuration and development.
  • Liaising with the Project Management team to ensure strong communication regarding project timelines, delivery deadline and changes.
  • Providing assistance and guidance to the client in adding master data to the configuration prior to or during the implementation.
  • Administration responsibilities.
Responsibilities ( not exhaustive )

  • Generating consulting revenue coupled with the requirement to ensure that each system configuration is delivered to a high degree of accuracy and within the required timeframe.
  • Develop and implement appropriate methods for capturing and documenting customer business requirements for system development, third party software integrations and external database interfaces.
  • Conducting and facilitating customer workshops across sectors as diverse as Pharma Biotech, Public Health Labs, Biobanking, Forensics, FMCG and Oil and Gas for information gathering.
Preparing Functional Requirements Specifications.

  • Collaborating with Project Management on project issues and roadblocks, concerns and schedules of deliveries.
  • Acting as a day to day contact for the client during the implementation phase.
  • Taking responsibility for system reviews and gathering feedback from the client on any required changes.
  • Executing the Acceptance Test Plan with the customer and documenting all exceptions
  • Working with the PM to ensure that the developed configuration is handed over to the Support Team correctly.
Qualifications and requirements

  • A Masters degree in Business Administration is preferred but not essential.
  • A significant longterm experience in the LIMS/ LES/LIS/ ELN Laboratory technologies sector.
  • Relevant LIMS experience in one of the following sectors is highly regarded : Phamaceuticals, Medical Diagnostics, Oil and Gas, Food and Beverages, Cancer research, Biobanking or similar.
  • Strong technical documentation and organizational skills.
  • Strong communications skills for working with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to facilitate and lead workshops for client requirements gathering.
  • Working with a geographically distributed team across different timezones and countries is a plus.
  • Fluent French and English with any third language a significant advantage as projects can be anywhere in EMEA, as well as in France.
  • Able to travel nationally and internationally around 2030 % of the time.
  • Holds a drivers' license with access to a vehicle.
