You are an experienced Health and Safety Officer / Manager from the Tyrone area and are seeking a new challenge.

Senior Health and Safety Officer Skills:
The Health and Safety Advisor role would suit an experienced, driven individual with 5+ years Construction / Civils experience:

  • You have a third level qualification in Health and Safety or related field
  • You have experience with large civils / construction projects
  • You are able to manage Health and Safety onsite using your own initiative within the scope of the management system
  • You have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint), and a general competence in using new technologies (Mobile Apps etc)
  • You are Able to chair and deliver Health and Safety meetings and presentations

As Senior Health and Safety Officer:

  • You will report to and work closely with the Group Health and Safety Manager.
  • Managing a team of 4 Health and Safety Officers
  • Identify site specific hazards and ensure they are addressed in the site documentation and in a practical manner on the site
  • You will oversee safety inspections and accident and dangerous occurrence investigations, within your designated area of responsibility
  • You will oversee Risk Assessments & Method Statements
  • Contribute to the Tool Box talk topics, discussion and delivery.
  • You will liaise with Site Managers to ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date on site
  • Conduct training for new and existing employees
