We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as


Customer Helper:
Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing Agent at
Birmingham Airport on Fixed Term basis.


Reporting to the
Passenger Service Supervisor Team, the
Customer Helper - Sales Desk & Baggage Tracing Agent plays a vital role in creating a
great first impression, ensuring that all customers receive a
VIP service.

Working as part of our
Sales Desk Team you will oversee the
check-In performance, help our customers with
flight bookings, process
additional sales and
resolve customer queries such as flight changes, baggage tracing and additional product sales.

Working as part of a team, you'll ensure the
efficient running of the Sales Desk at the airport.

You will have responsibility for
-
taking payments for sales as well as supporting the effective resolution of
-
customer queries as they arise. Creating a
-
friendly welcome for all
-
Jet2holidays customers, you will effectively monitor the queuing system and queue times to ensure
-
efficiency and
-
compliance with company standards and
-
operating procedures.

  • In addition to the Sales Desk duties you will also take on additional responsibilities when baggage occasionally becomes separated from it's owner, you will offer a
-
dedicated service to ensure we return items to their owners as quickly and efficiently as possible using
-
World Tracer.

Role Model behaviours. You will have a genuine

customer service and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in

handling customer queries in a

fast paced,
-
ground operations environment. With previous

experience of successfully meeting
-
sales targets, you will also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Outlook and Excel, with good numeracy and communication

skills
