This role is working with
Jewson part of the STARK Group. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe.

We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with the professional craftsmen who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.

At
Jewson's we are looking for a customer focused individual to join us as a
Yard Supervisor helping to the efficient running of our Yard and Warehouse at our branch in Epsom.

What we're looking for:

Our branches are busy places, with lots going on inside and out, and whilst the exact duties may vary here is a taster of the role.

Directly supervising team members across the Yard and Warehouse functions
Additionally supervising a team including drivers
Ensuring all Health and Safety protocols are followed
Covering the Site Manager when they are on holiday
Ensuring all deliveries, loading and unloading are completed efficiently

What you will be doing:

We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive person who enjoys working as part of a team, you should be happy working both indoors and outdoors with a focus on H&S.

You will be experienced in supervising teams in any warehouse/outdoor environment. Industry experience is desirable however not essential.
