The Veritau group provides assurance services to local authorities, schools and other public sector clients. We make sure that organisations are operating effectively, mitigating risks and complying with laws and regulations. Our main services include internal audit, counter fraud, information governance and risk management. We're owned by our member councils, meaning our work sits at the heart of the public sector. Our head office is in York, but we also have offices in Northallerton, Redcar, Middlesbrough, Malton and Scarborough.

We have a vacancy for a Marketing and Communications Officer.


Marketing and Communications Officer

£27,852 - £31,099 (plus 3% performance related pay)
We're looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join us at Veritau. This post sits in the business support team.

The role involves coordinating marketing and communications activities across the Veritau group.

This will include internal communications, external marketing and communications, managing Veritau's website, social media and brand planning and executing campaigns, supporting ongoing projects.


You should have experience of working in marketing or communications, or a role involving research, analysis and problem solving in a business environment.

We require experience of local government or similar public sector experience.


You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with colleagues and clients, and be able to communicate effectively.
