Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialised Technologist position within the Radiation Protection and Imaging Physics section [RPIP] of Medical Physics at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
The section provides scientific and technical support to a range of clinical services within NHS Lothian & NHS Fife.You should be qualified to SCQF level 10 in a physics, engineering or clinical technology discipline. Registered as a Clinical Technologist or equivalent registered healthcare professional (RCT/AHCS/HCPC). Have experience in conducting routine surveys on radiographic medical equipment. Equivalent qualifications supported by relevant technical experience and knowledge may also be considered.
The section has a clear focus on quality and patient services.
You will join an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team supporting a range of clinical technical work related to ionising and non-ionising imaging equipment.
There is also opportunity to contribute to the training of fellow staff and development of local quality procedures & protocols.
