Our client, a leading car motor group are currently looking for a Master Technician to join their business based out of their Birmingham dealership.

As a Master Technician reporting into the Aftersales Manager your main responsibilities will be the ongoing service, repair, diagnose and inspection checks of vehicles.

If you have an MOT licence you may be required to carry out MOTs.

Working closely with the Workshop Controller you will work through your allocated jobs and feedback to the front of house Service Advisor team with any additional works or escalation the customer needs to be made aware of.


About the role of Master Technician:

  • Completing major and minor repairs
  • Fault finding and fault diagnosis of vehicles
  • Using diagnostic tools to find faults and repair as necessary
  • Replacing parts and completing work where required
  • Working with other centre areas (Service, Parts, etc) and keeping all informed
  • Meeting or exceeding efficiency and productivity targets
  • Light and full service work
Experience Required to be a Master Technician

  • Experience as a Master Technician within a main dealership
  • Hold a valid NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
  • Hold a valid MOT licence (Desirable)
  • Team player
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- 'Can do' attitude

  • Must hold a valid driving licence
