As we continue to expand our operations and drive growth, we are seeking a dedicated Technical Operations Support professional to join our team.
This role plays a crucial part in improving the overall efficiency of our operations, ensuring seamless processes, and delivering exceptional customer support.
Position Overview:
The Technical Operations Support is responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of efficient systems and processes within our company.
This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to optimize our operations while maximizing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate areas of improvement in our technical operations processes, systems, and resources.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement procedures for efficient production and quality control.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of operating manuals, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with the manufacturing team to optimize production schedules, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
- Provide technical support to internal departments, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues and inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies and software systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of required materials and equipment for operations.
Qualifications:
- A degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a technical support, operations, or engineering role is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of dust and fume control systems and related industry standards is beneficial but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
This role will be predominantly office based and there may be an option for some remote working later depending on the level of competence developed within the role.
Working hours are 8.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Thursday with Friday being 8.00am until 1.00pm
Salary:
£26,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
