Description
A Electrical / Maintenance Supervisor is requested to work within the Aneurin Bevan Health Board Hospital in the Torfaen area

Job summary:

  • To supervise and coordinate a group of multiskilled maintenance staff and other trades including maintenance assistants and apprentices.
  • To be responsible for the effective planning and efficient use of labour
  • To be responsible for auditing completed PPM records, carried out by the staff
  • To allocate labour to the Works and Estate Response Desk, planned preventative maintenance, and / or minor works schemes
  • To be involved in the successful resolution of complex faults on all types of building services systems and equipment.
  • You will be involved in the successful resolution of complex faults on all types of building service systems and equipment
  • Must be Computer Literate
  • Maintenance and Electrical knowledge or experience is essential
  • Excellent Data Entry and attention to detail
  • Work in an organised manner, being flexible in moving between tasks and reprioritising workloads when needed
  • BMS Knowledge is desired but not essential

Pay rate:

  • Pay: £16.13 per hour

Other information:

  • Free parking on site
  • Long term temp position

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday 8am 4pm
  • Additional hours may sometimes be necessary in certain circumstances due to service needs.
