Inclusion Practitioner - Suffolk, United Kingdom - Castle East School

Description

Castle EAST School are looking for an Inclusion Practitioner to work alongside teachers and with senior leaders as part of a professional team to support pupils with pastoral needs and plan and deliver interventions.

The primary focus will be to develop strategies and specific targeted interventions that support pupils' needs as identified in their EHCP documents.

To monitor and assess impact of delivered interventions and to feed into pupils target setting and review planning meetings. Delivery may be to individuals, groups or whole classes.

The Inclusion Practitioner will be expected to progress pupils' engagement and learning and to assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment as agreed with line manager.

The Inclusion Practitioner will be expected to support pupils who are unable to access learning due to their behaviour and complete rebuild and reflection activities with them, after an incident.
