Description

With over 200 resources, the Network Management team is primarily located in London, Bournemouth, Brooklyn, Tampa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Hyderabad and Mumbai to provide coverage of markets and selected clients.

While the group resides within the CIB, it supports all J.P.

Morgan's lines of business including Corporate & Investment Bank (Global Markets; Securities Services; Payments), Asset & Wealth Management, Commercial Bank and Consumer & Community Banking.


Role Summary:


You will be working with the Head of Network Management Governance Oversight Obligations & Standards to ensure the respective governance and oversight frameworks are robust and effective and support ongoing enhancement of the governance framework, including development of consistent best practices and governance protocols across Network Management and UK Outsourcing.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the governance and administration of the monthly Change review and Standard Approval Forums, and resulting SOP/SAP enhancement training session. Requires deep involvement with the responsible change areas.
  • Secondary and/or as required Primary Secretariat of monthly Governance Forums
  • Management of Calendars (liaising with Senior Management)
  • Creation of detailed PowerPoint decks (liaise with presenters and review of change submissions and supporting materials for accuracy)
  • Ability to produce high quality minutes and efficiently track followup actions to completion
  • SharePoint Maintenance
  • Maintaining the Network Management Policy & Standards Portal to ensure latest available documentation (Network Management and UK Outsourcing) is linked to Corpora and/or Firmwide Policy & Standards Portal
  • Agendas, Minutes & Training document maintenance
  • Socialisation of required action messaging across Network Management/UK Outsourcing Governance and CASS teams as required (usually related to Projects)
  • Perform monthly reviews of current Standing Operating Procedures due for annual review
  • Perform monthly review of current Operational Task Manager Checklists to ensure all tasks have been completed
  • Support periodic audits that fall within the team's remit

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • Good control mindset and high attention to detail
  • Strong organisational, administration and communication skills
  • Possess a confident and assertive manner to ensure agenda items are covered during Forums and to organise and moderate monthly training sessions
  • Be able to demonstrate working in a control focused environment
  • Demonstrate leadership and ability to deliver through others
  • Selfstarter with an attested track record of working to deadlines with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • Aptitude and confidence to call out issues when captured
  • Ability to quickly build good working relationships across the Network, CASS and UK Outsourcing teams so that governance activities can be coordinated efficiently
