Hennock Primary School

Full time, 5 days per week, term time, to be paid NJC Grade D

Permanent Post to commence March 2023

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and talented Early Years Worker to join our wonderful supportive staff at Hennock Primary School.

Required from March 2023, this post will involve leading the Pre-school including planning and preparation throughout the week.

It involves creating a fun, nurturing, stimulating and safe environment for the children that meets individual's needs; preparing and resourcing activities and provision linked to the EYFS curriculum; assessing children's progress and determining next steps in their learning and working collaboratively with other members of our EYFS team as well as parents and carers.

For this role, you must hold a
Level 3 Early Years qualification or a similar/higher/equivalent qualification;

Ideally, you will also:

  • Have experience of working within and leading an early years setting;
  • Have a robust and thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents and work as part of a team;
  • Be energetic, positive and enthusiastic;
  • Be able to use your own initiative;
  • Be warm, friendly and have a good sense of humour
