About Our Client:

Our client is a UK wide leader in the recycling distribution industry based in Derbyshire. The business export and import both non-ferrous and ferrous metals to a variety of European and Far East business.

Their business has grown to over £250 million in turnover and is actively growing at double digits year-on-year for the last decade.

The successful Logistics & Sales Co-ordinator will report into the Logistics Controller on a daily basis and have the following responsibilities:

  • Customer planning of all ferrous and non-ferrous export & import loadings throughout the UK
  • Coordination the planning, delivery and loading of all loads for transport & logistics.
  • Contract administration, quality checking and processing.
  • Processing of all sales orders through finance and PO receipt.
  • Maintaining and updating a large customer order book alongside processing.
  • Developing KPI and data for senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant:

The successful Logistics & Sales Co-ordinator will have a background in logistics and / or sales administration and have the following skills & attributes:

  • 2+ years' experience in logistics planning and / or sales administration
  • A key eye for detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Wellorganised and able to operate in a timely manner
  • Commutable to the Derbyshire area
