As the Head of Host at Sola Michelin Star Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our front-of-house team.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the hosting staff and create a welcoming and efficient environment for our esteemed guests.
Responsibilities:
1.
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire the hosting team to deliver exceptional service consistently.
2.
Guest Experience:
Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and have a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.
3.
Reservations Management:
Oversee the reservation system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling bookings.
4.
Seating Arrangements:
Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize restaurant capacity while maintaining guest satisfaction.
5.
Staff Training:
Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of hosting staff.
6.
Communication:
Liaise effectively with other departments, including kitchen staff and servers, to ensure smooth coordination during service.
7.
Problem Resolution:
Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations.
8.
Maintaining Standards:
Uphold the high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism expected in a Michelin-starred establishment.
9.
Performance Evaluation:
Conduct regular performance evaluations for hosting staff, providing constructive feedback and recognition where appropriate.
10.
Adherence to Policies:
Ensure compliance with all restaurant policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a fine dining or Michelinstarred restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highpressure environment.
- Proficiency in reservation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
