Art Teacher must have an Enhanced DBS

Can you teach the Bronze and Silver Art Awards?

Will you be available to start immediately, up to July with the chance to go permanent?

PRU Art Teacher

Qualiteach is currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking for an experienced PRU Art Teacher or an Art Teacher who is looking to gain experience in a Pupil Referral Unit.

You will be responsible for the planning, delivering, learning andprogression for 8 students who have been removed from a mainstream school.

Some of the students you will be teaching will be on track for their GCSEs, others will be working towards their Bronze and Sliver Art Award.

During your lesson you will have 2 TeachingAssistants with you at all time who will be there to support the students during the lessons and will also manage their behaviour when it arises, so you are able to continue teaching.

The ideal PRU Art Teacher for this role will need to have had previous experience,strong classroom and behaviour management skills and be able to work as a team with their support staff.

Pupil Referral Unit

Found in the South London borough of Fulham, this Pupil Referral Unit caters for girls and boys aged between 11-16 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis.

They currently have 50 students who attend and in theirlast Ofsted in 2019, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.

This school doesn't have an onsite car park but there is parking available in the nearby streets and is a 10 minute walk from the nearest station, making it an easy commute from most areas ofLondon.
