Description

Job role

Support engineering team by carrying out varied basic tasks including plumbing, replacing locks, silicone work and basic wood work (removal and replacing)
Use of hand drills, replacing wall fixings
Assist with fire alarm testing
Carry out emergency lighting checks
Log work on MMP system (training will be provided)
Assist storeman with stores to learn how stores systems work
Drain clearing, as required
Work with engineers when they require assistance.
Tiling at surrounding sites, as required
Some minor building repairs

About The Role

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar role preferred
Experience of DIY/light carpentry work is essential
Sound practical experience in working with hand tools
Good attention to detail
Proven ability to prioritise and work independently
