Job Description:

Business

Maintain pricing and market database and distribute it to the UK network
Supporting operators with carrier service issues and escalations
Assist Product Manager with regular internal reporting
Identify lost quote trends and work with branches to turn those into wins
Monitor weekly booking reports
Support sales and tender teams with RFQ pricing
Analysis of downtrading/lost business and working with branch and sales to correct negative trends
Involvement in meetings and negotiations with carriers and hauliers in accordance with business needs to ensure that economies of scale are met and best prices achieved for the Company and/or Client
To perform any other duties not defined in the job description as reasonably requested / expected by the Company

Customer Service

To be customer facing and identify new business opportunities within existing portfolio of services from existing clients
To ensure "Best in Class" customer service is always delivered

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Multi-Modal position, with a proven track record in Operations
Handson current experience in air import/export and sea import/export
Educated to GCSE standard (minimum of 5)
IT literate (Microsoft Office
Excel expertise necessary)
Commercial freight forwarding industry awareness is essential in this role

Special Conditions

This may require travel to other branches and overnight stays out of area during the year
