*Job description**Role:

  • General Kitchen Assistant
*Rate: *£10.50 per hour, plus £250 gross bonus on completion of probation

*Contract:

  • Permanent
*Location: *Pontefract, WF8 3DD

*Shift Available:

  • 07:00am to 14:00pm Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week

Our facilities combine traditional British butchery technique with some of the best technological prowess in the food sector.


A committed team of over 800 staff oversee the whole process: from procuring the best possible livestock from our carefully picked group of farms, through butchery, retail packaging and despatch before it finally arrives on the supermarket shelf or as part of the restaurant dining experience.

*About you:

  • Thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Ideally have your own transport
  • Flexible in your ability to work on your own or within a Team
*Role:

  • Prepare food, i.e. sandwiches, prepping vegetables, salads etc
  • Operating the till
  • Minimising waste
  • Pot washing
  • Keeping all work areas clean and tidy
  • Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures and Company specifications are strictly adhered to
