J&C Joel supply, manufacture, and install, a range of products into the entertainment and events industry. The core of its business is flame retardant fabrics, and manufacturing high-end technical and decorative drapery.

OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our International Sales team, who work with customers all over the globe.

The role requires someone who is career driven and wants to grow their skills and experience to take on more responsibility.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:


  • Provide consistently accurate quotations for a diverse range of products and services.
  • Successfully negotiate and close sales, demonstrating commercial awareness of factors like payment terms.
  • Promote J&C Joel Ltd products and services to new and existing customers, by targeting customer requirements and where possible upselling and crossselling.
  • Deliver industry leading customer service remotely by providing consistently responsive and flexible support combined with excellent technical knowledge and relationship building
  • Identify commercially viable potential new products & services, in line with current and future market trends within the industries that J&C Joel operates in.
  • Adhere to J&C Joel Ltd company policies.
  • To carry out any other reasonable and appropriate tasks given by the Senior Sales Advisor or the Regional Sales Managers.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTE EXPECTATIONS:


This role could suit a driven graduate wanting to hit the ground running or someone with 1-2 years experience in a B2B sales environment wanting to take their career up a gear on a structured path.


  • A keen eye for detail and diligent approach to administration

  • Great communicator with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • A sound understanding of what constitutes great customer service, able to easily form rapport with customer base and build lasting customer relationships;
  • Proven track record of understanding a large range of products and services in detail
  • Determined and tenacious attitude to following up quotations and closing sales
  • Selfmotivated, with an ability to work on your own initiative
  • An ability to think creatively towards innovative technical and commercial solutions
  • Comfortable and confident with negative customer feedback
  • A flexible approach to working methods and schedule

Job Types:

Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
