Role purpose:
Qlik Solution Lead in the Qlik Centre of Excellence. Supporting Qlik platforms for Group Data & Analytics, Financial Operations, and other business functions.

Expectation for the role is to provide expertise for delivery, project documentation, security and best practice solutions for all visualisation and analytical deliverables across the portfolio.

Vodafone Group's Qlik platforms are currently hosted across GCP, AWS, and on-premise.


With us you will:


  • Solution design and implementation for demands across the Visualisation and Analytics portfolio (Qlik).
  • Provide expertise and issue management in support of Qlik issue escalations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or expand the capabilities of visualisation and analytical platforms.
  • Ensure solutions are built in accordance with company security standards and good practices, to guarantee they meet security and privacy rules, stability, availability, and resilience.
  • Work with the business to provide best solutions to fulfil requirements by collaborating with colleagues around the globe.
  • Knowledge of visualisation and ETL tools (must include Qlik) within market for recommendation of alternative solution to fulfil business requirements.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise written communication (requirements and technical documentation)
  • Full understanding of the endtoend delivery life cycle (ideally SAFe Agile) and ability to identify best practices for delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate with a virtual and geographically dispersed team with sensitivities to the multicultural aspects of the team, and work in matrix management environments.
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Good Qlik development experience (3+ years) e.g. performance tuning, section access
  • Experience in Qlik QMC management (security rules, custom properties, admin roles) (3+ years)
  • Experience of coaching / mentoring Qlik developers / users.
  • Demonstrable experience integrating Python (or similar) and Qlik Sense (automation, analysis). (1+ years)

Nice to have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Experience in Data Warehousing and Big Data.
  • Experience in REST API
  • Expertise in SQL querying
  • Understanding of cloud computing environments
  • Understanding of data privacy principles
  • Experience of Qlik SaaS
  • Experience of project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience in Qlik Architecture
