We are currently recruiting for an experienced individual to join our team based in Blackburn.This role is dealing with all aspects of HR for the business as well as the smooth running of the office.
This is a very diverse role and will involve working closely with the Directors, Home Manager, support staff and sometimes supporting the young people within the provision.
Our company provides semi supported living for young people aged between 16/18 years old, we specialise in supporting young people and assisting them with employment, education, self-esteem, independence, mental health and preparing them for their next step to adulthood.
Starting salary will be around £15,000, salary dependant on experience
Duties
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Director
- Compile and update employee records
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Keeping Bright HR up to date at all times
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training etc) and take minutes
- Deal with employee requests and the external HR support regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
- Holding staffing meeting, minutes etc
- Supporting all staff with Debrief
- Communicate with external agencies
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
Experience:
- Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
- Experience within the health care sector or within semi supported living preferred
- Driving licence
