Export Operations Co-Ordinator

Jetstream Logistics is a well-established business providing the highest levels of service to our customers.

Primarily we work within the aviation and media industries and the majority of our services are expedited courier, road and airfreight.

We are looking for an operations person who is dynamic, enthusiastic and versatile to join our company. The successful applicant will be working with a highly experienced team, offering support and training. Opportunity for progression.


Duties include

• Booking collections, organising & coordinating imports & exports
• Communicating with customers, suppliers and airlines
• Raising necessary documentation (MAWB, HAWB, labels etc)
• Preparing documentation for customs
• Negotiating rates and preparing quotations for customers
• Postflighting, filing general office duties.

Key Skills Required:

Minimum 1 year experience in export or imports with either a courier or freight forwarder in the UK is essential.

The successful applicant will also need to possess the following attributes:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good, confident professional telephone manner when dealing with clients and customers alike
• Computer and Telephone Applications literate
• Flexible approach to working hours punctual and excellent attendance
• Ability to organise own work and under your own initiative.
• A good knowledge of the English language; verbal and written.
• Hold a full clean driving licence and own transport (for travel to work).
• Have good national and international geography skills.
• Be of smart/professional appearance.
• DG by air or road and forklift licence are a definite advantage
