Are you seeking a rewarding opportunity in a small, friendly, independent, family-run Care Provider? Join Beaumont Home Care as a Part-Time Senior Care Assistant and become a crucial part of our professional care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Administer medication following care plans and relevant guidelines.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage in meaningful activities with our senior clients.
- Assist seniors with mobility, transfers, and the use of assistive devices as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Report directly to the Registered Manager.
- Lead by example within our established professional care team.
- Work towards and achieve strategic objectives.
- Be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the care team.
- Respond to emergencies and provide guidance and support to all staff on duty.
- Participate in the oncall rota and cover any uncovered care calls when required.
- Undertake spot checks on the care team and hold support and supervision meetings as needed.
- Provide care and support within the community as part of the care team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care assistant role, particularly with senior care, is essential.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Compassionate, patient nature with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Additional Requirements:
- Age: Must be 18 years or older.
- Weekend Availability: Required for two weekends each month.
- Transportation: Own reliable vehicle required with a valid UK Driving Licence.
- Work Eligibility: Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

Location:
Community-based roles covering Brentwood, Chelmsford, Basildon, Epping Forest (Essex), and surrounding villages.
