Interim Payroll Officer position with hybrid and flexible working options

  • Big public sector organisation based in Leeds

About Our Client:

Our client are a well known Public Sector organisation with their Head Offices based in Leeds City Centre.

They have experienced a lot of growth over the past 3 years and are looking to add some heads into their payroll team, temporary for now but could be permanent for the right team members.


The main responsibility of the Payroll Officer will be to support the team with end to end payroll, this will include inputting of data through to processing for payments.

They have a third party payroll provider too, so there will be communication required with them. Communication will also be key with other key stakeholders in the organisation and also general queries regarding payroll.

The successful Payroll Officer will be offered:

  • £14-£16 per hour depending on experience
  • Weekly pay each Friday
  • Holiday paid on top of this
  • Immediate start role
  • 37.5 hour full time working week
  • Hybrid working (2 days in Leeds)
  • Flexible working patterns
  • 4 month contract with chance of extension or permanent contract
