What will the job involve?


The patient safety administration role is fundamental to the organisation as team members are responsible for the admission of patients into the HealthHarmonie services and the discharging or onward referring of patients at the end of their care pathway with us.


About you
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Expertise Required

  • Attention to detail to avoid error
  • Excellent organisational ability
  • Experience with Microsoft packages and company databases
  • Quick to learn new skills and systems
  • Previous experience working in an administrative/telephonebased role
  • Be able to provide highquality customer service
  • Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Expertise Desirable
  • An understanding of a Healthcare setting would be an advantage, but full training will be given

The role also includes;

  • Processing the patient notes following triage, resulting in patients either being accepted into the HealthHarmonie service or onward referring them into different care providers
  • Utilizing the National E-Referral Service
  • Update patient administration systems
  • Review all patient outcome reports following their HealthHarmonie appointment and action the outcome
  • Chasing laboratories for outstanding patient histology results
  • Managing departmental actions in line with department KPI's
  • Updating patient care trackers using Microsoft excel
  • Confirming patient appointments via telephone

We expect all Patient Service Administrators to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly and confident telephone manner
  • The ability to use their own initiative
