    Supply Chain Manager

    We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at {company}, a world-leading defence company. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in providing strategic and efficient supply chain management.

    About the Role:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive plans for material programs and subcontract management in collaboration with procurement teams.
    • Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to establish project schedules using Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
    • Lead planning tasks related to proposals, including defining deliverables and creating cost estimates.
    • Prepare precise material cost estimates and optimise procurement strategies.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges, including obsolescence and long lead items, to maintain project timelines.
    • Apply material strategies to proposals and manage cost performance against expectations.
    • Engage with supply chain stakeholders to support operational requirements.
    • Monitor and improve performance metrics while addressing emerging issues proactively.

    About You:

    • You will have strong planning experience and experience working with subcontractors.
    • You will possess knowledge of operational and manufacturing processes (assembly, integration, and test).
    • A degree level qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience would be ideal.
    • You will be based on a hybrid working arrangement, spending 2 days a week in High Wycombe/Greenford.
    • Private health options will be available.

    What We Offer:

    • A competitive salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
