ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an opportunity to join our busy Asset management team. The role of Clerk of Works involves
- providing technical advice and practical solutions for any challenges to the delivery of your assigned projects.
- providing full on-site support to our Asset Team Project Managers and surveyors.
- managing varied projects: which include internal and external refurbishment works, review works, new build works, mutual exchanges, permissions, stock condition surveys and structural defects investigations.


ABOUT YOU
- be able to interact positively with contractors, residents and other stakeholders
- be able to produce clear concise reports with supporting data.

  • Be selfmotivated, selfsupporting with the best interests of the project and residents uppermost.
  • Familiar with the specification of works any relevant drawings, change orders and written instructions, checking them, and using them as a reference when inspecting the work.
  • Take measurements and samples on site to make sure that the work and the materials being used meet the specifications and quality standards.
  • Be familiar with legal requirements and checking that the work complies with them.
  • Have a working knowledge of health and safety legislation and bring any shortfalls observed to the attention of the person(s) concerned, as well as the Project Manager/Building surveyors.
