REPORTING TO:
SCM Controller with a dotted line to MFG Coordinator
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The successful applicant will effectively manage service parts goods receiving, picking, packing, Glovia stock transfer & stores control to ensure stock accuracy.
As well as having a responsibility to ensure customer requirements are met & Glovia is transacted in a timely manner.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The post holder will be able to:
- Ensure all deliveries are received into Glovia stores upon receipt
- Manage & control all service parts picking & packing
- Ensure stock movements in Glovia in a timely manner
- Ensure stock accuracy within the stores area
- Ensure on time accurate despatches, that meet customer requirements
- Support Coordinators
- Ensure any service part shortages are escalated within timescale
- Ensure compliance to stock accuracy processes
- Participate in department stock take activities
- Ensure containment of customer concerns
OTHER REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Adhere to systems and procedures (QCDSM)
- Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental business systems
- Adhere to Terms and Conditions of Employment
- Encourage and participate in effective team working
- Respond readily to requests which require flexibility and mobility including training and development
- Work overtime to support customer (SNOT, Shift change etc)
- Computer literate
Flexibility in terms of being prepared to work overtime and shift patterns in line with customer requirements is a pre requisite.
