The position
By joining our team in CFO you will have the opportunity to:
- Partner with the boards and heavily engage with other internal experts.
- Provide corporate and governance advice to board of directors and other stakeholders for our renewable business.
- Assist in organising shareholders' meetings for subsidiaries and joint venture partnerships, take, and draft minutes and prepare resolutions.
- Be the gatekeeper of, arrange for and coordinate board meetings as well as coordinate necessary supplementary documentation.
- Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries.
- Ensure compliance and handle the internal and external filing obligations (annual accounts, nonfinancial reporting, changes in board composition etc).
- Independently handle the role with good understanding of company law and requirements.
- Assist with the incorporation and liquidation of companies.
- Where the company is jointly owned with other partner(s), ensure that decisions are made in compliance with applicable shareholder management agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Companies House rules (the UK registrar of companies) and the relevant legislation (including the Companies Act 2006).

- Relevant bachelor (BA) degree or master's (MA) degree with courses in company law, and either:
- A diploma in Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial Practice with good understanding of UK company law, or
- 46 years of experience as a paralegal or associate in corporate law from a law firm or similar role.
- Good experience and competence in the drafting and maintaining of entity records and minutes.
- Fluent in English.
