Description
We are working closely with a global company in Cramlington. Due to their continued growth we are recruiting Warehouse Materials Handler'sto join the team.

When you're part of the team you will carry out important work and have the opportunity for continualgrowth and development.

Day shift hours - 6:00am - 6:00pm

Night shift hours - 6:00pm - 6:00am

Pay rates vary depending on shift pattern - minimum hourly rate of pay is £10.70 with shift enhancements.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain high levels of QH&S and 5S within the department and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed using cGMP standards
  • Have a good understanding of documentation and procedures
  • Use pallet wrapper
  • Use IT systems to maintain database and procedures
  • Use computer tracking systems for monitoring items
  • Control and coordinate movement of BPC raw materials, inprocess materials and finished products
  • Use proper material handling equipment in the correct manner
  • Maintaining accurate inventory
  • Assist in Goods In & Picking Team as required
  • Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met, including general housekeeping
  • Consolidation of pallets
  • Cycle Counts/ Stock Takes and Bay Counts.
  • Moving raw materials between the warehouses.


  • Returns

  • Assist and transact cows full of product returned from the lab back to their locations or finding locations for them
  • KANBAN Materials Replenishment
  • Work to performance rated targets and Key Performance Indicator.

Skills:


  • Strong attention to details and accuracy of work
  • FLT Counterbalance license preferred but not essential
  • Computer literacy and keyboard skills
  • Flexibility to operate in different areas as required
  • Some supervisory experience would be an advantage
  • Warehouse and/or packaging experience
  • Positive attitude and adaptable to change
